Rekindling the Tradition
Few youths of a village Named Barha did YLTP, then they started Seva activities. While they taking Navchetna shivir in a village Arjunsuli,on the last day they organised a cleaning camp and
while doing cleaning camp they came to know that no Durga puja happened there for last 200 Years. Then they organised a Nukkad Natak ,people feel their should be puja in their villages. They started organising Satsangs. Yuvacharya team of Barhra organised 4 days Durga puja at Arjunsuli village, which is a remote village of Khayarasol block in Birbhum district. It is happening for the first time in 200 years of the history of this village. The team which was leaded by Pritam, Devnath & Pradipta made it possible by solving the sociopolitical situation of this village. The volunteers did their best to handle the village people about the importance of this celebration. Now the village is very grateful to the Yuvacharya team. The village was graced with chanting of Chandi Patha for the first time. In the evening villagers enjoyed various cultural programs everyday. Yuvacharyas decided to continue Durga puja every year in a new manner of celebration in that village.
Jai Gurudev.
