 Amit Chatterjee have launched Sathe Ache (we are together) mission in Bengal after successful initiative of Doctors on call. Then we have moved with Global project Mission Zindagi launched centrally by Art of Living for India with our team members ..SCM  Vivekananda Arya & Ankur Agarwal.


We started with handfull of volunteers & Yuvacharyas by delivering food packets at Budbud, Mankar & Galsi area of Bengal for patients who are in home isolation. We have no idea if any resources are available there or not. We took initiative for 15 patients, then within a week we moved for 40 patient due to spike in cases in surrounding area.

Then till mid week of May we served food parcels to 150 home isolated families.

7 volunteers from near by places gathered at Sri Sri Gyan Mandir, Budbud to take initiative and do Seva for this Noble cause. In amid of they doing sadhna and daily practices to ensure safety of their health. We served these families in whatever manner we can from serving food to immunity kit or anything else required.

Several patients are helped with doctor's consultation by doctor's on call initiative.

Many patients are supplied with immunity kit who have mild symptoms only.

Period during when number of severe cases  increased we arranged oxygen cylinder which is the need of the hour.  Our volunteer went with  PPE  kit to provide oxygen cylinders for the needy one.

Our team coordinated  with different orginazation for help such as  RED VOLUNTEERS, LIONS CLUBS ,MARWARI SEVA SAMITY, CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND TMCPs MEMBERS who are enthusiast to make a difference irrespective of ideology , a section of people United to help in need. 

As many patients , have not experienced ART OF LIVING PROGRAM, he conducted a COVID PROTOCOL PROGRAM for them.


In these trouble time when people entangled and stressed with news of death and lack of medical facilities, this initiative gave hope strength & faith on humanity.

Many inspired to serve & make a difference.

Leaders like Amit is a one point poc for people when a large section busy in black marketing beds & oxygen cylinders.

This selfless action is a result for unconditional of Poojya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar & regrous YLTP training.

 Swati banerjee of malda, came to Health World hospital, Durgapur,  She got his contact from Facebook and give him a call. 

These situation is tough for non covid patient too. At midnight he coordinated with the team and volunteer and provided her a bed in healthworld.  After that, two bottle blood was arranged through a volunteer Rajib . Tears of thanks is what volunteer received.

 One of Art of living volunteer mousumi das got covid positive and she is diabetic too. She was there in a Block hospital of malda where no modern facilities was there as such. He arranged a bed in healthworld where patient got support of icu in the right time.

 One of our teacher Tarak Ghar got admitted in Kolkata nursing home. Patient went through severe serious issues on his hospitality in new town nursing hospital . On one call, his team make sure everything will be taken care off.After few days the patient got discharged

 Sharad bajaj , a rice mill owner and a Art of living faculty got helped by him irrespective of lockdown.  Due to him sharad ji supplied kabasur kudineer to all workers of Rice mill which kept his business unlocked.

 Ganesh bhalotia, a noted business man & his whole family recovered from mild symptoms due to his efforts. 

Amit traveled extensively in lockdown also from Bankura to Burdwan to Durgapur to Asansol. 

He traveled in self initiative to help people in need with beds , oxygen, blood , food to isolated patients,  immunity kit. 

Food services got applauded by local administration too.

Ranjini a lady called to help her father who is working in a factory in Purulia District. Unfortunately factory got closed and their staying all become containment zone. Team arranged a hotel for her father and also few testing facilities in a lab of Purulia.  

Times when people with blood relation unable to meet each other , he travelled,  coordinated and lead such task for the wellbeing of many. One such Subrata Singha Roy,  A ex BSNL Employee who is covid positive and suffering breathlessness, on a call he and a yuvacharaya reached his home 5am in morning to give him oxygen support which saved his life. Later they shifted him in icu hospital. 

As of now his team helped with 

98+ immunity kit 

35 patient oxygen 

85 person got bed in hospitals.


As so many people got infected ,and many affected through negative news , a large section of people expecting help from volunteer like these. The toughest challenge in these time is to say wait for few time as people are fighting to save loved of their near ones. But Gradually with sudden involvement of random people , challenges started sorted out including monetary,  physical presence of volunteer and resources.  Most tough is to say no to people as resource are limited but with yes mind they reached to people. He had constant talk with district leaders and all to coordinating and make the things happen.  

Before started cooking food in Sri Sri Gnan Mandir and after all done he used to do Gurupuja for all there

  • Patient from Bankura , Malda , Murshidabad, Purulia ,Bardhaman got helped in the hospitals and nursing homes of Burdwan, Purulia , Dhanbad,  Ranchi , Durgapur and Asansol. Amit  also begin a initiative for vaccination drive as rural people are still reluctant to vaccinated.  He talked with several community leaders & political leaders. On Friday , Day of Namaz he displayed audio in loudspeaker to promote vaccination in all. 

  • Recently they started a car pool ambulance service for patients to hospital. 

  • Also one vaccination awareness campaign for toto drivers and vegetables vendors and their vaccination all will happen on 25th May 2021.

  • Once a person Amit Roy called these team about admission of his wife who is pregnant and expect baby on 10th May. The girl have mild symptoms of covid. The team arranged treatment and as she have symptoms local doctor of panagarh denied treatment,  Amit Chatterjee on his connection get his admission on burdwan medical college where she delivered a baby Girl.
